Fall asleep to the calls of owls and the crackle of the fire . . . if it’s peace and quiet you need, whether for some down time in nature or a creative break, you might love a stay in our authentic Mongolian yurt in rural West Oxfordshire.  Within a short walk of the farm you will find yourself in mixed forest, with a footpath to the Ladywell and a grove of ancient ash trees.

Guided Retreats

Sometimes we think we want time on our own, but it’s frightening to actually do it.  The truth is, when we step out of our routines, and drop our roles, we come into contact with ourselves, including the parts that are calling out for healing.  That’s when it can help to be held through your process.  Through a combination of meeting in person before and afterwards, and telephone calls during your stay if needed, I can suggest practices to support you to find more of your own peace, and communication with nature.

Healing at the Yurt

The yurt holds a beautiful healing energy in itself, and is a wonderful environment in which to receive a shamanic healing treatment.  Stay a while beforehand to attune to the space, and rest afterwards for a night or longer, to integrate the healing.

Practicalities

The yurt is felt lined and warmed by a wood-burning stove, lit by candlelight and solar powered fairy lights.  Cooking is on a small gas stove, with pots and pans, crockery and cutlery provided so you can be self-sufficient.  Facilities are close to nature, with compost toilets just across the field and a simple solar shower.

The yurt is available from April to October for short stays and retreats.  Please note there is a minimum of two nights booking (unless you are booking a healing session).  Bedding is not included.
